Sydney gets color. She understands not only how color works,
but also the emotional and psychological effects color can have on people. She believes that color is completely personal and she loves the process of selecting a palette that speaks to each client's personality, lifestyle and/or workstyle. Her passion for color lies in its ability to completely transform spaces—quickly and inexpensively. For Sydney, color is the most powerful of all design elements. Sydney gets design. Although she has found a specialized niche in color consulting, she is firm believer that color and design go hand-in-hand. Just as color can transform a space, so too can proper space planning, lighting, furniture placement, furniture scale, window treatments, as well as proper product and material specifications. Whether a client needs advice on a large remodel or help selecting a color for a single room, Sydney's design skills are always put to use. Education & Affiliations: Sydney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree—Specializing in Drawing & Painting from California State University Long Beach and an Associate of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, California. She has also completed additional coursework in Color Theory, Ecology, Historic Preservation, and Commercial Design. She is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).
